Thank you to those who have already contributed!

REGULAR SHARE (pictured above) included:

  • 10 APPLES GALA
  • 2# BANANAS RIPE
  • 2# BANANAS GREEN
  • 1.25# TOMATO ROMA
  • 1 LETTUCE ROMAINE
  • 6 PEARS D’ANJOU
  • 5 ORANGES FANCY
  • 6 oz BLACKBERRIES
  • 2 GRAPEFRUIT RED
  • 1.25# CARROTS TABLE
  • 1# BROCCOLI CROWNS
  • 3 CUCUMBERS
  • 2.5# POTATOES YUKON B SIZE
  • 3 PEPPERS MEDIUM

COST COMPARISON - Walmart was a little hard to do a direct price comparison with since some of their produce is pre-packaged, but if you had gone to Walmart this week and had been able to open some of the packages and only pay for the portion you took, you would have spent about $34.  Of course, you cannot open packaging, so you would have really spent about $43 for all you received in a regular share, as well as a few extra grapefruit, oranges and potatoes.

COST COMPARISON - Walmart was a little hard to do a direct price comparison with since some of their produce is pre-packaged, but if you had gone to Walmart this week and had been able to open some of the packages and only pay for the portion you took, you would have spent about $20.  Of course, you cannot open packaging, so you would have really spent about $29 for all you received in a small share, as well as a a few extra oranges and potatoes.
